Hi, I'm Dan!

Hey everyone!
Thanks for letting me be a part of the blog world:) As you might know from reading Lindsy's posts, I am on the road a lot. I believe that the love of the road has been in my blood since I was a kid. I've read a ton of books about life on the road and always dreamed about it one day being a big part of my life. I always loved geography and history, too.  When I'm on tour we try and make the most of being in new parts of the country. For example, in November we were in the middle of South Dakota, hours from any major highway.  It would have been easy to hate the drive and fall into a deep boredom. Instead, we did a little research and found a place called "the outhouse museum".  It was quite a sight to see.  So, being on the road and seeing these odd beautiful parts of the country is one of the best parts of my job- besides playing music, of course.  I would love to share these experiences with you! I also plan on sharing some pictures like these ones that Lindsy and I took the other day. As much as I love being on the road, nothing compares to being at home and the adventures that Lindsy and I go through every day.  Thanks for listening!

  1. Fun! I'm not much of a blog reader but I enjoy reading what Lindsy has to say about stuff. I'm glad to be able to read your POV as well.

  2. Looking forward to hearing more about the fulfillment of your ongoing dream. Someday - soon I hope - we can make that 'road trip of a life-time' to the ball parks we want to visit. I'm hoping we can start with Safeco this summer!

  3. When I grow up, I want to be an orange-couple. A lot like this.
