Homemade T-Shirt Onesie

I set out to make a T-shirt onesie for BB with an old shirt of mine.  I thought this was going to be a simple DIY but instead it took me two days and a lot of trial and error.  And some anger.  BUT!  I am glad I did it.  Because, as mediocre as it may be, it's always cool to make something.  Here are some steps or rather awkward guidelines as to how I put this thing together.

BB does NOT like sitting in the grass so this mini photo shoot was torturous but it's the only way to get him to sit still!  I swear, when this kid starts walking he will be running.  He is so active!  I kind of like it.   He has spunk, that's for sure.  He's also at this fun stage where he doesn't like any of his toys, he just wants to play with things he probably shouldn't.  Like, the Home Depot paint stick you see in all these photos.  Or, a clothes pin.  Or, a tire pump.  Yes, a tire pump.  If anyone has any scissors, knives or paint chips I'm sure he'd love to play with those, too.  Just kidding.  Obviously.

Have a great weekend!  XOXO,
Lindsy

  3. Love it. I've held onto some old Tees that I have nothing to do with so that is awesome sauce.

  4. Hahaha - that shirt is too perfect. It is beyond awesome that you would make it into a onesie. JD is going to flip out when I show him this post... and he will probably ask that you send it to us when BB outgrows it, so that one day, when we have little babies, they can wear a Zombie/ninja/gaming onesie too.
